Intelligence Analysis

Information that is gathered and received through various sources is collected, analyzed and disseminated.  The main source of information is from patrol deputies.  Another source of information is from citizens who want to report criminal activity.  Use our Tip Line to report any crime directly to the Sheriff's Investigators.

Evidence

Investigators assist deputies in evidence recovery at crime scenes.  When processing a crime scene the investigators document their actions, package/document the evidence collected, store the evidence and send it to the crime lab for further analysis,  Evidence that may be discovered at crime scenes are latent prints, hair, fibers, tool marks, blood splatter and instruments that were used in the commission of the crime.
