The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is committed to the prevention of crime, the protection of life and property, and the preservation of peace, order, and safety in Greene County.  The Criminal Investigator is a seeker of the truth and a specialist in recreating the past.  The Investigators assigned to CID will respond to problems and actively seek solutions through both traditional and innovative methods. The Investigators attempt to determine the identity of perpetrators of crimes based upon facts and evidence, to arrest, and to coordinate with the District Attorney throughout the criminal prosecution of the offender.
